Adobe offers many popular products of this industry such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, Acrobat, After Effects and many more. These programs have certain requirement for the system to run smoothly in a laptop (or in a Desktop). In this post, I’m doing to discuss some of the Best Laptops for Adobe Creative Cloud that you can get at a reasonable price.
Before I jump to talk about the products, Let me tell you that I have followed the official system requirements guide mentioned by Adobe itself. I’ve not randomly picked the below laptops. You can choose any of the below laptops without any hesitation.
Top 7 Laptops for Adobe Create Cloud in 2019
1. Acer Nitro 5
The Acer Nitro 5 is a budget gaming laptop from Acer which is aimed at modern gamers and heavy users. I have already talked about this machine and mentioned this as a good laptop for streaming. Now I’m going to explain why this will be a good laptop for Adobe Creative Cloud too.
So first off you are getting a 15.6-inch full HD IPS display which has quite large bezels on all the 4 sides of the screen. The display is quite decent but the large bezels may be a concern for some creators. If you are okay with the bezels, then you won’t have any issues with this display. The build quality of the laptop is decent for its pricing. The laptop weighs around 6 lbs (2.7 kg) which is quite heavy and it is the second heaviest laptop on this entire list.
You are getting 256GB M.2 SSD which can perform way faster than a traditional Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and the 8GB DDR4 RAM is good enough to run multiple applications at once. You can upgrade the RAM just like Brycen did If you want to improve the overall performance.
Acer has offered Intel Core i5-8300H on this machine which has 4 cores and 8 threads and speed of the processor is 2.3 GHz. It is more than what Adobe has recommended in their guidelines. Apart from a good processor, you are also getting a discrete graphics card i.e GTX 1050TI 4GB. It is very hard to offer this GPU in this budget. Acer has somehow managed to offer this card in this pricing which is a great thing I would say.
The keyboard on this laptop is backlit which means you can work at late nights without any issues at all. The battery life on this laptop is pretty average in my opinion. You can get around 3-4 hours while running Photoshop or any other application of Adobe. You can expect a little longer battery life while using it for entertainment purpose such as browsing, watching movies, etc.
2. Asus ROG Strix SCAR II
The Asus ROG Strix SCAR II is a high-end gaming laptop which costs over $1000 and offers many exciting and powerful features for its pricing. Let me tell in you in a little detail why this is one of the best laptops for adobe creative suite.
The ROG Strix SCAR II is a very attractive and good looking laptop which features 17.3-inch 144Hz IPS display and I have to say it looks gorgeous and stunning at the same time. As a creator, you can enjoy working on this beautiful display. The build quality of the laptop is very good and it feels solid.
The storage offered on this laptop is 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD and 1TB 5400 RPM HDD. The hard disk is very slow but the faster SSD will make your job way easier. For multitasking, you are getting 16GB DDR4 RAM which is more than enough to any Adobe application. The processor inside the machine is Intel Core i7-8750H which has 6 cores and 12 threads. The speed of the processor is 2.2 GHz and you can overclock it up to 3.9 GHz which is brilliant I would say.
The graphics card you are getting on this machine is GTX 1060 6GB model which is slightly better than the above GTX 1050 Ti. Apart from running Photoshop or After Effects, you can play some modern games at decent frame rates (FPS). Even If you are not a gamer, you can take advantage of this GPU in many other ways.
Asus has offered a lot of ports on this laptop. On the left side, there are 3 USB 3.1, an HDMI 2.0, a mini display port and Ethernet port and on the right side, there is 1 USB 3.1, 1 USB Type-C and SD card reader.
The laptop weighs around 6.5 lbs (2.9 kg) and it is the heaviest laptop on this list. If you are looking for a lightweight laptop to travel with, then this laptop might not be the best option for you. You can choose any other laptop from this list.
3. HP Envy 2019
The 2019 HP Envy is one of the premium laptops for Adobe Creative Suite that you can get right now. Of course, it is quite expensive but you have to pay a little more get a premium laptop like this.
HP Envy is always known for its amazing display and HP has continued its legacy by providing this stunning 13.3-inch 4K display which has minimal bezels on all the sides except one i.e bottom. You can enjoy this beautiful display while using it for both professional and personal purpose. The build quality is also very top-notch which is also one of the major reason to get this laptop. The laptop weighs 4.9 lbs (2.2 kg) which is fairly portable in my opinion.
You’ll be getting 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD as a storage option which I guess is more than enough for many people. The processor under the hood is a very powerful one i.e Intel Core i7-8565U along with 16GB DDR4 memory. You can perform any kind of tasks on this processor without any issues. For 3D rending or any other heavy tasks, you are getting a dedicated graphics card i.e GeForce MX250. This might not the most powerful GPU in the market, but it can get the job done for you.
HP has provided this laptop with a Fingerprint scanner which is very useful while unlocking the device. If you are tired of unlocking your laptop by typing the password every time, then this feature might be very useful for you.
The battery life on this laptop too is mediocre I would say. It can last around 4 hours while doing any moderate type of tasks. Overall, I can say that this is one of best laptops for adobe creative cloud in the premium segment.
4. Apple MacBook Pro
I don’t think I need to give you an introduction about Apple’s MacBook Pro at all. It is undoubtedly one of the most popular series of laptops in the world right now. Though it is not a very perfect laptop but still it is a good option for Adobe Creative Cloud.
Let me elaborate about that for you.
The 13.3-inch stunning and gorgeous Retina display is one of the best in the business without any doubt. This display produces excellent color reproduction and the viewing angles are pretty good too. As you may already know, Apple is quite expensive but they are known for delivering products with the great build quality and this one is also no exception. You are getting a premium build quality which is very hard to match by other manufacturers.
The laptop weighs only 3 lbs (1.36 kg) and it is one of the lightest laptops you can get right now. It is easy to travel with and Yeah, you might not even need a laptop bag to carry this beautiful machine.
The storage offered on this laptop is 256GB SSD and along with that, you are getting 8GB RAM. With Apple’s Mac OS and its software optimization, this machine will smoothly run Photoshop, After Effects etc without any trouble at all. If you are already into the Apple ecosystem, you might already know what I’m talking about.
This MacBook Pro comes with a not-so-new 7th-generation Intel Core i5 processor. Though it might not be the latest CPU, it won’t cause any issue while running any of your Adobe applications. You are also getting an integrated graphics card i.e Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 which isn’t a powerful card compared to a discrete one.
One of the biggest drawbacks of this laptop is its port selection. You are getting only 2 USB Type-C ports for charging and display port. There is not a single USB Type-A on this laptop which might be very disappointing for many people. You need to keep this in mind If you are thinking to get this one.
The battery life on this MacBook Pro is very good. You can expect 5-6 hours of low to moderate type of usage. You can get little more than that while doing any lightweight tasks.
5. Lenovo Legion Y7000
The Lenovo Legion Y7000 is a mid-range gaming laptop for people who has a budget under $800 and want decent performance.
The laptop features 15.6-inch full HD IPS display which is pretty good and again, there are no compromises on the build quality of this laptop too. You are getting a solid build on this Legion Y700.
When it comes to storage, you’ll be getting 256GB PCIe SSD and for multitasking purpose, you’ll be getting 16GB DDR4 memory. The processor inside the machine is Intel Core i5-8300H which is the same CPU you are getting on the above Acer Aspire Nitro 5. The performance of this machine is excellent and Thespian has mentioned that it has handled Adobe Premiere Pro easily.
The graphics card Lenovo has offered here is, GTX 1050Ti with 4GB GDDR5 VRAM. This is a budget card but it can help you rendering your projects with ease and you can also play some amazing games with this GPU. The laptop also features a backlit keyboard which is a very useful feature while using the laptop in dark areas.
This laptop weighs around 5.2 lbs (2.3 kg) which is slightly on the heavier side but traveling with this laptop occasionally won’t be a problem for you.
Lenovo claims the battery could last up to 5 hours but in real life scenario, you can expect 3-4 hours of battery life which is neither best nor worst.
At last I have to say this is one of the top laptop for Adobe Create Cloud in this budget range.

6. MSI GL63
If you have a budget a little more than $1000, then I can honestly say that is a very good laptop for Adobe Create Suite.
The MSI GL63 comes with a full HD IPS display which is a 120Hz panel and claims to have to 100% sRGB ratings. The build of the laptop is decent for its pricing and it weighs 4.8 lbs (2.2 kg) which are fairly portable in my opinion.
When it comes to storage, you are getting 512GB NVMe SSD which is sufficient to storage a lot of data. If 512GB SSD isn’t sufficient for you, then you can add additional storage in the 2.5-inch bay offered inside the machine. The 16GB DDR4 RAM offered on this laptop is good enough to run multiple applications simultaneously.
The processor you’ll be getting here is a powerful one i.e Intel Core i7-9750H which has 6 cores and 12 threads. The base speed of the processor is 2.6 GHz and you can overclock it up to 4.5 GHz. The graphics card inside the machine is very good too i.e GTX1660Ti. You can render your 3D projects, run any heavy graphics demanding programs with the help of this GPU smoothly.
The ports you are getting on this machine are 3 USB 3 ports, 1 USB Type-C port, an HDMI, 1 mini display port and an ethernet jack. The port selection by MSI here is quite decent I would say.
You can expect 2-3 hours of battery life on this laptop which is poor in my opinion. MSI should have offered this laptop with better battery life.
7. LG Gram 17
LG Gram 17 is a bigger, thinner and a lightweight laptop that comes with great features at a reasonable price.
In LG Gram 17, you are getting 17 inch IPS display which comes with 2560 x 1600 screen resolution. The display is longer and wider than traditional 15-inch laptops. One of the best things about this laptop is its portability. The laptop weighs only 2.9 lbs (1.3 kg) which is super lightweight and easily portable. If you are looking for a powerful yet lightweight laptop, then you should definitely take a look this beast.
Just like the above MSI GL63, you are getting 16GB DDR4 memory and 512GB SSD which is good enough for most of the creators out there. The processor under the hood is Intel Core i7-8565U which has 4 cores and 8 threads and it can smoothly run any Adobe program without any hassle for sure. This is the second laptop on this list which comes with Integrated GPU i.e Intel HD Graphics 610. I know this isn’t a powerful card but you can run most of the Adobe program with this card by compromising some features.
You are getting a keyboard with full number pad which also features white backlit. The laptop also comes with a Fingerprint scanner which is placed at the power button.
The port selection on this machine isn’t too bad I would say. On the right side, there are 2 USB 3.1, Headphone jack and a Micro SD Card reader and on the left side, there are 1 USB Type-C port, an HDMI and 1 USB 3.1.
You can expect 8 hours of battery life on this laptop which is excellent in my opinion.
